Lots of UNO
Today Kevin and Pam arrived into town today. We had a nice time catching up a bit with them. We went into town to get some food for dinner. We found some little sidewalk stand type of markets and got chicken, veggies, fruit, water and some coffee! The Greers were beat from taking the night train from Kyiv to Odessa so while they rested we went and visited V and B. We took along an UNO game and played for more than 2 hrs. The kids didn't know the game but it is easy to catch on to and great for practicing colors, numbers and a few simple commands like "Draw 4" :-) Soon we had more kids joining us. There was lots of laughter as they would save all the 'dangerous' cards to pick on each other with. We taught them how to shuffle cards and do the waterfall and they were quite intrigued. When Robert did an UNO version of 52-card shuffle they all just about lost it and scurried to pick up the cards. We left about 5pm and walked home in the dark and the fog. Pam cooked up a great meal with the chicken and veggies which we all really enjoyed.
